Just Checking Things Out

A plus size woman smiling wearing a casual grey checked t-shirt dress, black leggings, black bandana and metallic silver platformed loafers

I don’t think there’s a woman anywhere who doesn’t want to look and feel good in her clothes. We all love stylish fashion items. I personally try to find pieces I can wear both casually or dressy. In The Style Curve is one of my favourite brands and they have a wide variety of items. What I love about the brand is that a large amount of their standard size range is also available in the Curve collection. They have really helped me to embrace my love of checked items. In fact almost all of my checked pieces come from them! With that being said, you can understand why I had to have this t-shirt dress.

What caught my eye with this one is how easy to style it is. It would work really well on it’s own with some cute heels as a mini dress or as I’ve styled it here as a tunic style top. If you prefer a little more length, skinny jeans or leggings are a great compliment to the item. I always like to size up with dresses like this due to having a large bust, behind and stomach. I got this one in a size 26. You can wear this dress in a sexy way by having your legs out. I personally wanted to wear it more modestly.

It’s no secret that I have a thing for shiny items. I love silver earrings, silver accessories and of course silver shoes! I now have around 5 pairs! Evans Clothing have the most incredible platformed loafers and they are incredibly comfortable. The soles are soft with a padded cushion feel. These are so comfortable to walk in too. A great pair of shoes for the office or as part of the general wardrobe. These black leggings are also from Evans. They have a thick elasticated feel that pulls you in at all the right places. I love how high waisted they are and the little added details like the zippers at the ankle.

In The Style Curve make such fab checked items. I have even worn some of them on the blog before. Check out this post featuring a Binky Shirt dress. You can keep it simple and be fun with your outfits. Just play around with colours and simple pairings to create a comfortable and fun look.

Beat It 35

A plus size woman smiling wearing a Michael Jackson beat it t-shirt, red faux leather zip front mini skirt, black duster jacket, silver metallic Chelsea boots and red bandana

When it comes to music there isn’t a person alive who doesn’t know and love the works of Michael Jackson. I am one of the rare few who would loudly and proudly describe myself as a die hard fan. Thriller is still the largest selling album of all time. With that being said me and the guys are celebrating 35 years of the pop rock classic Beat It. Unfortunately I wasn’t born when the track came out but I have grown up listening to this classic song and not once has it ever felt old!

When I think of MJ’s Beat It so many things come to mind. The track destroyed boundaries all over and made Michael one of the first artists to be loved and embraced by music lovers of all races and backgrounds. Making him a world shaker and game changer on his own. It’s fair to say that Michael pretty much owned the 80s! Even though rock music was very much a white American genre back in the day, MJ was one of the pioneers to change all of that. The fierce commercial track with world famous guitar solo by Eddie Van Halen changed the game. People of all ages still have a phenomenal time playing air guitar and screaming out the catchy chorus.

Beat it just so happens to be one of the first choreographed dance routines that fans worldwide can all do! I myself have been known to let loose when the song plays out in public. Truth be told, you really don’t care when the music is that good! I know I’m not the only one who also connects the song with the red leather zipper jacket! No one on the planet is able to wear a similar jacket without Michael Jackson and “beat it” being mentioned.

With that being said you can understand why I decided to style this look the way that I have. King-Of-Shop is something that myself and the boys are extremely proud of. The world’s most successful and talked about MJ merchandise and apparel online store. We are known for only selling official MJ merchandise and fine collectables. Beat It is also heavily featured on the site at the moment and this t-shirt is one of the many available styles so be sure to check us out!

I was recently sent the most amazing red faux leather zip front mini skirt from In The Style Curve. I knew that it would be perfect with this t-shirt and the Beat It theme. The funky zips remind me of those on the jacket. Scarlet red and vibrant faux leather is something that any MJ fan would want to wear. I thought it would look pretty hot with my silver Chelsea boots also. Finished off with my Asos Curve fishnet tights, black duster jacket, lips bag and bandana, I was MJ ready!

It’s crazy to think that the song has reached a 35 year milestone but is still just a fresh today as it was when it was first heard. Weddings, parties, club nights, pop discos and events all over the world are playing this song as we speak! MJ was one of the best musical artists for creating a timeless classic and being able to reach people of all generations with his music. Beat It is no exception to the rule and will forever remain a favourite for people everywhere. Let’s not forget the incredible cherry picker routine on the live tours!

Stay tuned on the blog because I will be having fun in more MJ inspired looks and paying homage to some other classics very soon. Last summer I played around with Dirty Diana. Who knows what i’ll be having fun with next!

Get It Checked

A plus size woman wearing a checked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black patent buckle boots

Over the past few years we have seen that checked shirts have been in style for women all over the country. I personally hadn’t owned one until just a few months ago. Now I find myself with a few in my wardrobe each with a different element of style. In The Style Curve have quite a range of plus size clothing and there is pretty much something for everyone. Sometimes you just want to wear something with some colour that can either be dressy, smart or casual.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a checked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black patent buckle bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing a checked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black patent buckle boots

When I saw this shirt from the Binky collection I knew I wanted to try it out. The rich and warm colours really caught my eye. Reds and oranges really work against my complexion so I knew that something containing both would be a really nice fit. This one is designed as a dress but I like to wear it as a shirt with some extra length. I like that checked shirts allow for a mix of colours in a single garment. It can make putting together an outfit rather fun. I decided to keep things simple and only wear black with this one.

A plus size woman wearing a checked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black patent buckle bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing a checked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black patent buckle boots

Whenever I buy dresses or shirts with front fastening buttons I up-size. When you have a large bust you need to account for this to minimise the gaping that can take place. I have this one in size 26 because of this. I like that unlike other checked shirt designs there is a small but subtle added detail, the sleeves! They come with long checked ties that you can use to fasten bows or leave loose if you wanted to have a different look altogether!

A plus size woman smiling wearing a checked shirtA plus size woman smiling wearing a checked shirtA plus size woman smiling wearing a checked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black patent buckle boots

Lane Bryant recently sent me this pair of super stretch skinny jeans. Of course black skinny jeans go with a multitude of clothing items so you can see why it was so easy for me to pair these with my checked shirt dress. I should note that usually you downsize with American sizing when buying in the UK. I did however get these in a size 26. From my trip to Vegas last summer I knew that with Lane my size for shorts, trousers and jeans would be a US size 26. That being said if you disregard the size label in the back of your jeans the fit is amazing. The denim is super stretch and extremely comfortable. They honestly feel as comfortable as a pair of thick leggings. Perfect for this time of year!

So there are many ways you can put together a casual yet stylish look. Some work with shapes, prints and cuts. I like to colour coordinate my looks and go from there. Whatever it is you do to look stylish be sure to have fun in your clothes and stay warm in the winter cold!

Who Said Grey Had To Be Dull?

A plus size woman smiling wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch

It’s a few days into January so let me wish you all a big Happy New Year. Even though everyone is back to work and the weather is still awful it’s not all doom and gloom. Even though the mood may feel grey that doesn’t mean grey fashion items have to be dull or boring. I’m really not a fan of the cold, in fact I can’t stand it. Maybe it’s because I was born in the middle of July, or perhaps because people aren’t as cheery this time of year. Either way I try to find fun ways to fight the chill in the air.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch A plus size woman wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch

When In The Style Curve recently released this sweater dress I knew I wanted to get my hands on it. It looked so warm and cosy in their stock photos. It’s not often that I have found a roll neck (or turtle neck to some people) sweater where the neck is fully covered and the folds stay in place. I absolutely love the fit of this one. I should note though this is a very short one if you want to wear it as a dress. It does have a true to size fit though. I’m wearing this one in size 22-24.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a grey turtle neck sweaterA plus size woman wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch A plus size woman smiling wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch

I thought it would be fun to continue with wearing metallics and so I paired this top with my mini skirt from Simply Be (To read my review on this item check out this post). This gave me the little extra length that I like and was a fun way to create an outfit. I rolled the hem of the top upwards slightly to really emphasise the baggy oversized look. To finish things off I added a simple pair of fish net tights from Asos Curve and slipped on my heeled Chelsea boots.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch A plus size woman smiling wearing a grey turtle neck sweater, silver mini skirt, black heeled Chelsea boots, holding a silver clutch

I love that some items that are meant to be pretty casual can really get some added sass by the way they are accessorised. If like me you’re all about colour coordination this should be easy for you. Working with a colour pallet can simplify the decision making process when it comes to putting an outfit together. As Pink goes so well with grey I decided to wear some pink lippy with this one. Even when wearing block colours a little touch of something different can make all the difference.

As it stands I believe the grey version of this sweater dress may be out of stock but it does come in a lush stone colour so be sure to pick one up while stocks last! I can assure you it is as warm as it looks! This would work really well with leggings, jeans and many other items. And for those of you who are daring enough as a single item! Tell me what key items are you wearing to battle the cold this season?

Sweet Like Mulled Wine

A plus size woman smiling wearing a wine red velvet dress, tights and black leather wide calf boots

So as we’re approaching Christmas I am well and truly into Velvet. With that being said this post would be the second in my end of year velvet series. I love that Christmas brings in some life to the dreary winter season with rich sumptuous colours everywhere. I love wearing red as it pops so well against my skin. When I saw this Charlotte Crosby wine coloured mini dress I knew I had to have it!

When I’m with the family for Christmas I like to wear something that is stylish and comfortable and has some colour. Red tends to be my chosen colour so this dress was a must have. I love the fact that it has short elbow sleeves and that the cleavage is covered. Sometimes the only skin you want to have on show is your legs. I picked this dress in a size 26 as when you have a large bust or behind mini dresses can hitch up and I didn’t want it to fit like a top so I decided to up-size.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a wine red velvet dress, tights and black leather wide calf bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing a wine red velvet dress, tights and black leather wide calf boots

What more can a woman want than a dress that is the colour of fine mulled wine for Christmas?! It’s funny how things like fabrics and colours can really get you into the spirit of things. I’m obsessed with the velvet, metallics and sequin options out this season and I plan to make the most of the them before they aren’t as appreciated in the new year. I say wear what makes you feel special this holiday season even if you aren’t someone who celebrates Christmas. We all love having the chance to dress up don’t we?

A plus size woman smiling wearing a wine red velvet dressA plus size woman smiling wearing a wine red velvet dress, tights and black leather wide calf bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing a wine red velvet dress, tights and black leather wide calf boots

I love the softness of the velvet and the length which is absolutely perfect for my 5’5 frame. This one also comes in a black and deep emerald green colour for those of you looking for other options. I love that you can keep things simple whilst still looking pretty glam. I decided to pair this one with a pair of black tights and my Jilsen boots from Wide Calf Boot Store. Even though I have my signature hoop earrings I may also slip on a necklace of some sort as silver looks gorgeous against red velvet!

Speaking of sequins and other fine fabrics check out my review of this amazing rose gold sequin dress also available from In The Style Curve. There really is something for everyone this season and you’ll be seeing more options from me too! Stay tuned for the final item in my velvet series but for now grab yourself a glass of something nice, and enjoy the festivities wherever you are!

Sequins And Sparkles

A plus size woman smiling wearing a pink sequin dress, wet look leggings and open toe nude heels

So the party season has well and truly begun! Work events are taking place, people are getting into the Christmas spirit and sparkles are starting to appear everywhere. I have a thing for sequins and have always enjoyed wearing them in the late part of the year. I really think that no matter what, every woman likes to feel glamorous from time to time. There are so many fun fabrics with gorgeous rich colours this season. I’m enjoying pinks and blush tones which is why this Madeline rose gold sequin t-shirt dress from In The Style Curve is going to making an appearance at an event i’ll be attending this year.

I have a thing for wearing bold prints and bright colours, especially in the winter months. What I love about this item is that it’s extremely comfortable, flattering and sexy. The freshness of the rose gold will stand out and look gorgeous at a Christmas party and this one can be worn as a single item or paired with cute tights or pants. There are many ways sequins can be worn and i’m a woman who isn’t afraid to wear them, in fact I love it!

A plus size woman smiling wearing a pink sequin dress, wet look leggings and open toe nude heelsA plus size woman smiling wearing a pink sequin dress, wet look leggings and open toe nude heels

This is the time of year when we all wanna look our best. Cameras are flashing capturing magic memories, glitz and glamour is everywhere… It’s also cuffing season so there is ample opportunity to meet someone special and even get them under the mistletoe. What better way is there to stand out than to walk into the room sparkling?! When I wear an item full of sequins I like to let the clothes do the talking for me. I selected this dress in size 24. It has a perfect fit for your dress size and plenty of stretch for those of us with boobs, bums and tums that need to be accounted for.

Colour coordination is the name of my style game! Accessorising the outfit was easy to be honest. I selected a Faux leather clutch in blush colour that perfectly complimented the dress. Wet look leggings were a must with this outfit. Nude open toe heels were my shoe of choice as I wanted a simple but cute footwear option. I tied my hair in a cute top knot style and pulled on my large hoop earrings to finish off my idea of the perfect casual chic party outfit. Many jacket styles could be worn to battle the chill in the air if you’re out and about in a dress like this also.

What will you be wearing this party season? Sequins, velvets and warm rich colours can brighten up your look and give you that little something extra to really make a great impression when you walk in the room. In The Style Curve have some fab selections so be sure to take a look! They’re going to be having some really hot discounts this Black Friday too!

General Sexy!

a plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress, ray-ban sunglasses and over the knee black heeled boots

So this season we are starting to see a variety of prints, colours and fabrics coming in for the winter. One print that is huge at the moment and has been for the past few weeks is of course camouflage! I have been really enjoying the options out there. Green and khaki prints are currently available everywhere and I’ve been having a good time styling them in my own way. In The Style Curve recently sent me their Sarah Ashcroft oversized jacket that makes me feel confident and full of attitude, a total boss chick. I recently wore this one in a look that made me feel like a sexy General!

a plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress and over the knee black heeled bootsa plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress, ray-ban sunglasses and over the knee black heeled boots

When I think of camouflage, like most people thoughts of the military come to mind. The print that is synonymous with soldiers all over the world has been extremely popular in casual fashion for decades. Men and women have been able to incorporate this into their wardrobe in a variety of different ways. I personally started wearing camouflage not that long ago. I found that when it came to plus size fashion we were limited to what was out there and very few options suited my personal style.

a plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress and over the knee black heeled bootsa plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress, ray-ban sunglasses and over the knee black heeled bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress and over the knee black heeled boots

The selection of options available for plus size and curvy women nowadays are sexy, funky, trendy and most of all comfortable. This jacket has some really fun distressed and edgy details with an oversized fit. Deep pockets, leather trim and bright yellow strip across the shoulders make this a really easy item to incorporate into many looks. I have this one in size 22/24 and for an oversized item it’s definitely true to size.

A plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacketAplus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacketA plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacket and ray-ban sunglasses

When I took these photos I decided to really hone in on the sexy General thing. Aviator sunglasses are one of my favourite styles and so I pulled on a pair of vintage Ray-Bans. As I like to colour coordinate what I wear I went for a black t-shirt dress, fish net tights, over the knee boots and my favourite shade of red lipstick! I really enjoyed this outfit. This look made me channel my inner boss bitch, sassy attitude and playful side.

A plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress, ray-ban sunglasses and over the knee black heeled bootsA plus size woman wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress and over the knee black heeled boots

It’s funny how certain clothing items can really affect your mood. In my opinion I find that fashion is a great way to purposefully channel an attitude or a vibe when you want to. If you’re in a mood where you really need to feel confident and in charge, clothing can make this happen. When i’m feeling bad or down I always go for that dress, lipstick or pair of shoes that makes me look and feel good. I guess that camouflage makes me feel extremely confident because I always feel fabulous when I have it on.

A plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress and over the knee black heeled bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, t-shirt dress, ray-ban sunglasses and over the knee black heeled boots

This is a jacket that has fast become one of my go-to items. I have worn this one with jeans, sweaters, leggings and skirts. Multipurpose items are always welcome in my wardrobe because they can be so versatile. We all have those items that can only be worn with that one pair of shoes or accessories… I really enjoy switching things up when I can. In The style Curve have a wide variety of items that can be worn in different ways. They really know how to come up with fun oversized styles. I recently reviewed one of their sweater  dresses that is still available on the site, check it out here.

A Different Kind Of Flare

A plus size woman smiling wearing a floral flared dress and over the knee high boots

When it comes to dresses I tend to look for something fresh, fun and a little sexy. Sometimes you just want to be able to step into a room feeling bold, confident, sexy and understated all at the same time. In The Style Curve have a wide variety of dresses, many of which are casual and others that are more suited to dressy occasions. When I saw this flared dress with floral print it caught my eye. I was looking for something that could be easily dressed up or down that had a little something different. I really liked that the colouring was simple and the item could work with a variety of accessories. As I always say multi purpose items can always be a great addition to the wardrobe.

A plus size woman wearing a floral flared dress and over the knee high bootsA plus size woman wearing a floral dress with flared sleevesA plus size woman smiling wearing a floral dress with flared sleeves

I love that the dress has buttons right the way down the front to allow you the option of being covered up or having an exposed cleavage. Fluted and flared sleeves are very much all the rage at the moment. The wide cut of the arms and sleeves are available for women of all shapes and sizes. Items that would otherwise be a little basic are brought to life with the added character that the shape allows. I personally find that even though there is added fabric there is a sexiness that flared sleeves bring to a look.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a floral flared dress and over the knee high bootsA plus size woman smiling wearing a floral flared dress and over the knee high boots

I really like the floral print of this dress as it’s a simple beige wash over a black base. The added cinch belt helps to accentuate the waist also. This is an item I could wear in any season. It’s cool enough to wear on a hot or warm day and airy enough to be comfortable in the summertime. Having said all of that I wore it out to dinner last week with black velvet leggings and champagne kitten heels. When I took these pictures the aim was to create a look that was both covered up and sexy. Over the knee boots are a lot of fun to wear and can add a sultry feel to an outfit. This is my favourite pair from a previous Lane Bryant collection and funnily enough, I wore them when I reviewed the Karina dress (still available) from the brand.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a floral flared dressA plus size woman smiling wearing a floral flared dress A plus size woman wearing a floral flared dress and over the knee high boots

Fashion has a way of making you feel emotions and different moods. I like to be expressive with what I wear and channel the different attributesof my personality. This outfit makes me feel cute, sophisticated, girly and sexy all at once! Simplicity was what I was aiming for when putting this look together. Less is most definitely more, flared sleeves and over the knee boots make a pretty big statement on their own! Showing my legs is not something I feel too confident doing so boots like this help me do so whilst feeling covered up.

Your clothing should make you feel incredible. Play around with how you dress yourself and you’ll be amazed by the results.

Having Fashion Fun With Binky

A plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized sweater dress and knee high boots

Reality TV is massive in today’s world. We see stars from various shows fronting many campaigns for apparel, beauty products and a variety of other items. I’m not into many shows of this nature but as a Londoner, Made In Chelsea has been my guilty pleasure for the past few years. The beautifully shot scenery of my home town and dramatic stories have kept myself and many other viewers hooked! One of the show’s longest running characters, who happens to be stunningly beautiful and stylish is Alexandra Felstead aka Binky. For quite a while now Binky has teamed up with a brand I love In The Style for some fun and fresh collections. I really love the casual and edgy feel of the items and I was happy to see that many items from the range are available in their Curve collection. This oversized sweater dress being one of them.

A plus size woman wearing an oversized sweater dress and knee high bootsA plus size woman wearing an oversized sweater dress and knee high boots

Summer in the UK this year was minimal. It’s fair to say that we didn’t have much of a season and so transitional looks are how I’m making the most of my wardrobe. I really like how simple this dress is whilst still having some colour and a bit of character. I should note that when it comes to In The Style Curve items I tend to wear sizes 22 and 24. With this dress I opted for a size 28 as I really wanted it to fit in an oversized way. It’s no secret that I have a large bust, big bum and a tummy. To get the desired look I decided to up-size, I’d say it’s a true to size item more than oversized.

A plus size woman smiling wearing an oversized sweater dressA plus size woman wearing an oversized sweater dress and knee high boots

I really enjoy wearing dresses that can be paired with others or worn on their own. I thought about wearing this one with some wet look leggings but decided against it. What girl doesn’t love a good pair of knee high leather boots? I pulled on some fun fish net tights and opted for my Jilsen Denise boots from Wide Calf Boot Store. Ladies like myself often struggle to find good quality boots to fit our calves. I can highly recommend this brand if you’re looking for a variety of style options this season. In my case I like a pair of knee high black boots for autumn and winter as they work with so many outfits.

A plus size woman smiling wearing a knee high wide calve boots A plus size woman smiling wearing a knee high wide calve bootsA plus size woman wearing an oversized sweater dress and knee high boots

I have to say I really love the range of clothing items in Binky’s range. It’s really nice to see that so many of the items in the main range are available in plus size too. This dress in particular makes me feel really sexy when wearing it even though it’s essentially an oversized sweater. The length is just right for a short dress and doesn’t hitch up high over my bum. The item makes for a fun casual piece that can easily be dressed up or down. The floral embroidered sleeves are really fun and the cute detail brings some rich colour to a black piece. I even found the perfect lippy to match the flowers, Orange Danger shade 883 from Maybelline.

I decided to wear this in a casual way but it could easily be dressed up with some cute stiletto heels, fun accessories and bright makeup. No doubt there will be more edgy and fun items to come from Binky and In the Style in the near future and I can’t wait to see them! Check out the other items in the current collection from In The Style Curve, rich colours, fun patterns and prints and sassy cuts are available. It’s definitely worth taking a look as there is something for everyone.

Have fun with your look this season and don’t ditch those summer items just yet. You may be able to include them in a fun transitional look. If you are wanting something a little warmer you should definitely try out a sweater dress. Who would have thought that a sweater with a little extra length could be so fun and sexy to wear?!

The Sunny Side Of Blue

*The Jacket And Top Are Gifted Items

Finally spring is here! For the past few months we have been treated to and endless stream of cold days, muddy puddles and the general dregs of winter. I am definitely a summer baby in every sense of the word but, I really enjoy the spring time. It’s nice to witness the flowers blooming, bright and pretty colours flooding the streets and the general happy buzz that comes with the season. I love the fashions of the spring as there is always such a vast mix of styles between the transitions of winter into spring and of course, spring into summer. London has been through some weird times of late but it has been such a blessing to get some sunshine at last!

I was recently sent the most amazing jacket from In The Style Curve. The Tay blush waterfall drape tie waist jacket is a really soft jacket made in a stretchy material that works as a light cover-up for the season. The sleeves can be shortened with the button tie detail attached at the arms. This one works both open as a duster or closed for a different effect. I love the colour and I thought that even though the sun is shinning here in London there is a still a little bit of a chill in the air so this was a great addition to my outfit. The brand have a really fun and edgy collection this season so be sure to check it out!

Spring always gives us pastels and soft tones. I don’t own many pastels to be honest with you but I do have a fair amount of blues in my closet! I was recently sent the most gorgeous sleeves top from Navabi. The cotton Peplum top from the Manon Baptiste collection, a really light and comfortable item to wear that is bursting with style. The material is really breathable and soft to the touch and compliments stone wash and acid wash denim really well. Their current collection is full of fun and sweet items for the season so be sure to check it out. I thought i’d wear this top with a pair of light jeggings from a previous Simply Be collection. I pulled out my blue cork wedges put on my favourite pair of Ray-Ban aviators and I was ready and set to go!

I love that when the seasons change you can make some fun outfits with old items in your closet and some new ones. I can’t wait to have more sunny days as I have some other outfits in mind that I haven’t been able to wear as the weather hasn’t allowed for it just yet. Denim is the fabric of the season so there will no doubt be some fun and fresh items out there in the stores. I have seen some amazing previews of some embroidered items and fun accessories. I definitely hope to get more light shades of denim so that I can play around with some more summery styles.

Have fun with the change in the season. I always see this is a great time to express myself visually whether that be by having nice flowers in the house, creating fun and colourful meals or dressing in some fun and bright items. I can’t wait to get out my fun summer dresses but I will most definitely make the most of the denim that’s everywhere. We all have it in our wardrobes and we all enjoy wearing it so why not switch things up and take your look to the next level?

Remember whatever you wear, feel fabulous in it and wear it with a smile!
